Life Two Point Oh is the debut EP from Acoustic Jim.
After performing at an open mic night back in 2007, Jim realised his desire to continue writing and performing music. A year later Life Two Point Oh was born.
Life Two Point Oh - is an observational song about how we live our lives through the internet. We conduct our day to day lives, socialise and even live out fantasies.
Easy Times - is a reminiscent song about how back at school, every year, the summer holidays would stretch out for weeks with seemingly no end. Jim also hints at his desire to have that sort of time back as now, he struggles to acheive everything he wants to...
The Tone - is a love song and written specifically for one person in his life that means more than life itself.
Hand In Mine - The lyrics to this are adapted from a sonnet written by Disco Bob. It uses weather as an extended metaphor for human emotion.
Sky Fires - is an ethereal piece about the season of Autumn. despite signaling the end of winter and being a darker time, there is a certain warmth to Autumn created by the russet colours and textures all around.
